Have you noticed that when people tell their success stories, they confirm that they were doing something, and then an idea came, and they kept working at it, and that led them to limelight?

Yes, you have to be on your duty post, if you want to hear or see the spirit’s voice. Now, that doesn’t mean you have to be busy for the sake of activity. But your expectation must meet you in active service, in God’s kingdom. Every instruction God gives, ultimately adds something to his Kingdom.

In Revelations 1:9-11, we see that John the beloved was banished on the island of Patmos, because he preached the gospel and witnessed For Jesus. No wonder, even while he was alone on the island, he still remained at that duty post, worshipping, on the Lord’s day, when ‘SUDDENLY’ he heard the voice of the spirit behind him. Child of God, what’s your duty post?

Many times, God looks for you to send you His word, and bless you, at your duty post, but doesn’t find you there. It’s just like in those days, as children, when we attend our friends’ birthday parties and there’s an instruction that everyone should be seated, because food will be served to you where you’re seated, and not while you’re roaming around.

In 1 Sam 2:1 we also see that the boy Samuel, ‘Ministered’ unto the Lord, that is, he was in active obedient service. And then in verse 4, he heard the spirit’s voice. In Exodus 3:1, Moses Kept his father in-law’s flock faithfully, that was his duty post. And that was where he had an encounter with God. Hallelujah! You want to hear God? Then locate your duty post, and stay there diligently, loving him, loving his kingdom and expecting an encounter. He will surely meet you there in Jesus Name, Amen.
