There’s a connection between hearing and seeing. Whatever you hear, paints an appropriate picture in your mind about what you’re hearing, so you begin to see it. Sometimes, when you’re trying to explain something to someone, and they are it getting it, it’s because they either aren’t paying attention to you, or they’re not seeing what you’re saying.
If you continue, all of a sudden, they say, ‘Oh, Oh, I see! At that point, there’s a click, the right picture has formed in their minds that just perfectly installs the exact message you’re trying to pass across. It could be that, their minds have suddenly wandered back to you and they now ‘SEE’ what you’re saying.
So it is, with the spirit’s voice.
In Habakuk 2:1, Bible says ‘I will watch (i.e. pay attention) to ‘SEE’ what He will ‘SAY’ unto me.
In other words, I will see the spirit’s voice. The reason, God’s word perhaps lack the expected manifestations in your life is because you aren’t seeing what God is saying. Meditation, helps you exaggerate God’s word in your heart, it births personal revelations into your spirit. Be it a scripture, or a word of prophecy. So, spend quality time meditating. Do it purposefully – Psalms 1:2-4
In Rev 4:1, John ‘heard’, and then he ‘saw’. That’s when he was called to come up higher. Child of God, you need to see the spirit’s voice from today. Stop rushing in and out of God’s presence. There’s nothing bad in following a yearly Bible reading plan and obligating yourself to read certain volumes of Bible text daily; But really, power is delivered only when you’re humble and expectant in his presence and you decide to stay there, paying spiritual attention to that which he’s showing you, and ready to milk it until you see what he’s showing you, even if it’s just one portion, and even if it means spending the whole day on it.
