Ever wondered how professional golfers do it when they hit long range balls, and you see the balls enter into the holes? It’s amazing, but then, it has to be that there’s a connection between what we see and how every other organ in our body performs.
Even the Bible says in Gen 13:14, God himself, telling Abraham, that as far as his eyes could see, he will take possession of. Now, that talks about vision. But the vision you should plan your life with is the Vision of Jesus. The one that comes directly from God.
Today, the spirit is saying expressly to us that we need to change our focus from ourselves or from our cares, and place our gaze on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. – Heb 12:2. You see child of God, our Christian journey is a long and delicate one, so, we need strength that comes from the spirit. And now the spirit is saying Look Unto Jesus, for that strength.
Peter started out in Matt 14:29, and he walked on water at The instance of Jesus. But in verse 30, he changed focus and hence began to sink. Return your focus to Jesus. Deprive your spirit of anxiety and worry, no matter what you’re passing through, and instead feed your spirit with faith, and an addictive focus on Jesus, through the perfect law of liberty, His word – James 1:25. Tell yourself and everyone who cares to listen, ‘I know that Jesus, my Redeemer lives’, and don’t just say it. Act it.
Look Unto Jesus, and receive hope! Psalm 34:5. He alone has the answers, he has the deliverance, He will save you.
